Variable-data printing (VDP) is a form of on-demand printing in which
all the documents in a print run are similar but not identical.
The basic layout of each document in the print run is the same,
but some of the text and possibly some of the graphics on each document are
tailored for a particular person or for a particular situation.
Image personalization is the ability to add variable text to images,
dynamically. For example: you can write people's names in the sand,
spell people's names with cookies or berries or cake frosting,
and emboss people's names on poker chips! This allows for the

Version 5 of Jaws PDF Server has been released

that a new version of it has been released. This new version (Version 5)
has the following new features:
- Support for PDF v1.6 creation: with Version 5 it is possible to configure
Jaws PDF Server to create PDF v1.6 files as well as the already-supported
PDF v1.3, v.1.4 and v1.5.
- Support for Windows Vista, Windows 2003 Server x64, Citrix and Windows
Terminal Services.
- Updates and maintenance on the supported Microsoft Office macros including
support for Office 2007.
If your Jaws PDF Server maintenance & support fees are paid up to date,
you're entitled to upgrade to Version 5 free of charge.
