Sample FusionPro projects Take a look at these projects to get an idea of what you can do with the FusionPro software. FusionPro Desktop was used for these projects. (Note: The FusionPro Desktop product has a new name; it's now called "FusionPro VDP Creator.") For one of these projects, FusionPro Expression Creator was also used.

Postcards advertising a shoe sale The postcards are personalized for the recipients by including each recipient's name in the text and also by using photos of different shoes: mens' shoes are shown on the postcards addressed to men; womens' shoes are shown on the postcards addressed to women. This is possible because the data file used for this project contains a field indicating each recipient's gender. Note that each postcard contains a U.S. Postal Service Intelligent Mail Bar Code above the name and address. The Intelligent Mail Bar Code is a replacement for the POSTNET bar code. The Intelligent Mail Bar Code is also known as the "IMB" or the "4-State Bar Code." Each postcard also contains a QR code that represents the recipient's account number. When printing small documents such as postcards, it usually makes sense to print more than one document on each sheet of paper or card stock. The links below show you two ways FusionPro can format the output: 1-up (one postcard per sheet) and 4-up (four postcards per sheet). Postcards advertising a shoe sale — with PERSONALIZED IMAGES This is another version of the shoe-sale postcards described above. For this version, each postcard contains a personalized image of the recipient's name written in sand. To create this effect, the FusionPro Expression Creator software was used in conjunction with the FusionPro Desktop software (as mentioned above, FusionPro Desktop's name has been changed to "FusionPro VDP Creator." Each postcard also contains a Code 39 bar code that represents the recipient's account number. Postcard invitations to Golf Tournament The formatting of these postcards is pretty basic but quite attractive. Notice that some of the customized text is printed at an angle. The FusionPro software can print variable text and variable graphics at any orientation. Fund-raising letters Each letter is highly customized for each recipient. Not only is the recipient's name used in various places throughout the text, but the text itself differs depending upon information in the data file. Also, different signatures are used for different records. You'll notice that the look of the letters is rather plain. That's because they are designed to be printed on pre-printed letterhead. Note, however, that the FusionPro software is capable of printing each letter in its entirety, including letterhead, on plain paper.   Click to see the letters
