POSTNET bar code.

The U.S. Postal Service has developed a new bar-code format called the
Intelligent Mail Bar Code
that functions as a replacement for both the
POSTNET and PLANET bar codes.
A U.S. Postal Service mandate stipulates that mailers are to stop using
the POSTNET and PLANET bar codes in May 2011 and start using
Intelligent Mail bar codes instead.
