QUESTION: What does SERP stand for?
ANSWER: There are two
commonly recognized meanings for the abbreviation "SERP":
- Search Engine Results Page — the
page of search results displayed by a search engine
in response to a search query.
- Software Evaluation and Recognition Program.
This is a testing program developed by Canada Post (the Canadian postal
authority). The program evaluates software packages for their ability to
validate and/or validate and correct mailing lists to Canada Post
requirements. Canada Post
publishes a list of all "recognized" software packages
(software packages that have passed the SERP evaluation).
