Quite Software releases "Quite Revealing" prepress plug-in for Adobe Acrobat

released its new "Quite Revealing"
plug-in
for Adobe Acrobat.
Extremely easy to use, Quite Revealing
is designed for prepress
professionals and for those
producing files for press use.
It aims to show information that is
otherwise difficult to find out about a
PDF document — information such as:
- image resolution
- what plates are used
- exactly where specific fonts are used in the document
- whether or not specific fonts are subsetted
- how transparency is handled in the document
and more.
But Quite Revealing goes BEYOND
that. It can also fix some of the
more awkward problems that can arise —
like differently named spot plates,
unwelcome transfer functions, or
ICC profiles that don't belong.
Platforms supported
Quite Revealing is available for
Macintosh (including Mac OS X) and
Windows.
